My life as a Kreitler

I bitched yesturday about the house setters coming to finish what they were suppose to do two weeks ago. They still haven't come yet, and I have no idea when they will be here to fix stuff. I have a ruff estimate on the plumber, but that is not an absolute. It will be at least another week before we are actually moved into our house. I am not happy. I wanted to be moved in and ready to live by now. I will be calling Monday to find out why the set guys didn't show up and find out when the carpet guys are suppose to show up. I want specific times so that I will know what to tell my neighbor who has a key to my house.

Well, our first morgage payment was made today, and we are still not able to live in the new house. The plumber won't be out to fix the pipes under the kitchen sink until Monday. The people who set the house, didn't connect the cross over duct. They were suppose to come today and fix the cross-over duct for the heating and air conditioning. Not to mention replace two of the supports under the house that have already started cracking. Needless to say they didn't ever show up today. The carpet guys were also suppose to come today and seam the carpet in the living room and the front bedroom together. They didn't show up. I am not a happy home owner right now. I would really like to be living in my new house instead of having to stay with my mother-in-law. My daughter has even commented on not wanting to live with Grandma and Pop anymore.

What makes this even worse is that we found out on September 25th that the house had to be on our property by the 30th, or bad repurcusions would happen. Well, come to find out the guys at Oak Creek(where we purchased our home) had forked over money to rush some of the things for the house and needed to have a way to justify it to his boss. The house was moved on to the property on the 30th of September, whichwas a friday, and was not even set until the following Monday. They had to come out two days in a row to get our house put together and the roof pinned. Then the cross over ducting was to be put in place at the same time. It was never done. I called Oak Creek Friday, when the A/C & Heating guy got there to check it. To ask them what needed to be done. I was on the phone to them at least 6 times that day alone.

The plummer is suppose to come out on Monday, and it is the same one who came out and connected everything under the house to the sewer and water. I just hope he gets there before I have to go to work so that I can show him what I want done. I so wanted to be able to start using my toilets and stuff in the new house. I can at least get things moved in, and maybe start sleeping there come Monday night. Who knows. I am just not real happy with the way things have turned out. We can't really sleep there until we have the Heating working either. However we do have the radiator heaters that we can use. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom needs to be repaired. There is one of the blades that is messed up on the ceiling fan in the back bedroom. The knob on the laundry room door doesn't work. I will try and get the paint for the bathrooms located tomorrow and see what we can do with that. I will let small-job help some. I will get the sponge ready and then hand it to her. We can use sponges to paint her bathroom as well. She wants her room to be pink. We will see. I am not so sure she would like to keep it that color.

Well, I am tired now that I have vented all my anger out on the computer. Hubby has to get up really early in the morning and drive two hours away to fill snack machines at the prison. Then has to come back and fill some at a place here. He will be tired from that, but I want to get a good bit done before we can start living at the new house. You all have fun, and don't do anything illegal. :)
